San Marino Salon Preps Band for Tonight Show

Up and coming band Scars on 45 stopped by San Marino's Starr House Salon this week to get groomed before their appearance on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Friday night.

When band Scars on 45--think Snow Patrol with the addition of female vocals, says their website--is in the Los Angeles area, they often stop by San Marino's to get their hair in rock star shape.

In fact, the band stopped by this week to get primped for their appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday night.

"We have been grooming the band for some time now and following their tour in the US and the UK," Starr House Salon owner Karen Milne shared with Patch.

Milne said she was introduced to Scars on 45 by her friend Alexandra Patsavas, owner of Chop Shop Music Supervision, who signed the band to her record label a couple years ago. Patsavas also works on TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Mad Men to name a few, plus movies like the Twilight series.

"It is our honor when they are in LA to take care of their grooming needs and support them at their concert venues in town!" said Milne.
