6 Questions for a San Marino Local: Lisa Begerow
A local mom shares her love for all things San Marino.
Local mom Lisa Begerow is always on the go. Between baseball practice and room mother duties at Child’s Garden Pre-School in San Gabriel, the busy mother of two recently made time for high tea and scones at a viewing party in San Marino.
“My neighbors were attending the Royal Wedding party and invited me to come,” said the San Marino resident. “I saw many familiar faces and met the wonderful hostess. It was a great ladies night out.”
Begerow attended the now famous Royal Wedding party thrown by San Marino resident Julie Lin. The lavish affair included a lifesize cardboard cutout of William and Kate and wedding cake for the famous couple. KTLA’s Eric Spillman was also on hand to partake in the festivities.

I go to the gym, but for a nice walk just around town.

What is the best part about being a local mom?
The best part about being a mom here is that you have a community that supports you. I live in a neighborhood filled with families that I've got to know over the past year and a half living here. They are always offering to help out in a pinch. Of all the places my husband and I have lived, this community has been the most welcoming.
