Daylight Savings 2011: It's Almost Time to Fall Backward

This year, we'll turn the clocks back by one hour on Nov. 6.

Daylight Saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday Nov. 6 so set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed Saturday night.

Fall Daylight Saving is always the first Sunday in November.

That's at least the case for San Marino, but not in the U.K, where Daylight Saving ends on Sunday, Oct. 30. In fact, there's even a move by the British government to scrap it altogether.

Why is it different in the U.S.? According to the Huffington Post, the extended Daylight Saving Time began here back in 2007, after the U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005.
