Five Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 6

A lot is happening today--not just the Super Bowl--but we offer game day tips too.

1.     Super Bowl: Today is the biggest game of the year and in case you don’t have a place to watch it yet, check out our list of . If you’re watching the action at your home or someone else’s, check out our list of . Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m.

2.     Today is the last day of the at the . The celebration takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is complete with cultural performances and activities for all ages. Admission to the festivities is free with Huntington admission.

3.     : Get fresh produce and homemade food items like bread and baked goods—perfect for Super Bowl snacks or the week ahead. The market is held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 100 E. Lime Ave. in Monrovia.

4.     : With over 500 vendors, you never know what you will find here. This flea market is especially known as a good place to buy and swap records. It takes place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1570 E. Colorado Blvd.

5.     : If you and your kids aren’t Super Bowl fans, head on over to this double bill performance by local fifth graders that starts at 3 p.m. The event takes place at South Pasadena High School and costs $10.
