Royalties from the new edition of the cookbook will benefit the Susan Campoy Nurse Education Fund at City of Hope, which is especially significant to those directly involved with the book. Campoy died of breast cancer at City of Hope in 2009, two months before the original edition came out. Her co-author and distributor, Colleen Bates, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of 2009. Currently, Susan’s daughter and business partner Julie Campoy is undergoing chemotherapy at City of Hope, while continuing to run Julienne.

The book launch party will take place at Julienne Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a sampling of Proseccos, Rosés, and hors d'oeuvres. Publisher Colleen Dunn Bates and Julienne owner Julie Campoy will be on hand to sign books.
