The Huntington Ranch, an urban agriculture demonstration garden on the grounds of the Huntington Library and Gardens will be holding an open house on Saturday July 27.
Visitors can take a self-tour to see what is going on at the ranch and get ideas for sustainable agriculture. The ranch will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to all with general admission to the Huntington.
The Huntington Ranch was established in 2010 as "part outdoor classroom, part demonstration garden, and part research lab," according to the Huntington's website.
It includes some remaining orange groves planted when the Huntington family inhabited the property in the early 20th century and includes a new avocado trees, fruit trees and more.
