San Marino Gas Prices Higher Than Area and State Averages

How do San Marino gas prices compare to those of the region and is the average going down?

It’s not news that gasoline prices are high right now. Unless you take an you have felt the pain at the pump. But how do current San Marino gas prices compare to those of the LA area and the state?

at Mission Street and Los Robles Avenue in San Marino posted $4.29 per gallon of regular gas Tuesday, higher than the state and Los Angeles area averages for a gallon of regular gas.

A shows the same gas station charging $3.75 per gallon of regular gas in February—54 cents per gallon less than the current price.

Tuesday’s average price for a gallon of regular gas in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area is $4.276 about two cents less per gallon than the gas found at the San Marino station. Tuesday’s LA/Long Beach average is slightly down from Monday’s average of $4.282 for a gallon of regular gasoline and the $4.283 average price a week ago, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.

However, it’s a different story when comparing Tuesday’s average price with that of a month ago—$4.163—or a year ago—$3.151 .

The average prices for a regular gallon of gas in California are all slightly lower than the LA averages.

Tuesday showed $4.261 per gallon for the state, almost three cents lower than the gas found in San Marino; $4.265 a week ago; $4.149 a month ago; and $3.159 a year ago.
