San Marino Teen to Perform Piano Solo in Glendale Youth Orchestra Show

16-year-old Hillary Santoso will be the featured soloist on one of the orchestra's pieces during their November 18 performance.

A San Marino teenager will perform a Beethoven piano concerto as part of a November 18 Glendale Youth Orchestra performance.

16-year-old Hillary Santoso, pictured right, will perform the solo at the First Concert of the 24th Season at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale.

The orchestra includes youth from area cities, including Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, La Crescenta and La Canada Flintridge.

Mozart - Overture to "The Marriage of Figaro"                                                                        
Rossini – Theme & Variations for Clarinet and Orchestra, Andrew Moses, clarinet (13 years old, West Los Angeles)                                                                        

Beethoven - Piano Concerto No. 5 ("Emperor"), 2nd & 3rd  movements             Hillary Santoso, piano(16 years old, San Marino)                                                                                     
Mozart - Symphony No. 38 "Prague"
