Though there are things to be thankful for year-round, Thanksgiving is a time that highlights gratitude and hopefully causes us to stop and ask, "What am I thankful for?"
We asked some San Marino locals what they are thankful for and encourage you to share what you are thankful for in the comment box below.
- Sandra Troup, President: I am thankful for being healthy, having grandkids, two daughters, great family and friends.
- Peter Loeffler, San Marino City Club 1st Vice President (Programs); Broker at ; Chamber of Commerce Board Member: I am thankful that we're all healthy and surviving in a relatively tough market and the rest of the town seems to be surviving rather well. I am thankful for a lovely wife and Chamber [of commerce] members.

I want to tell them that I count my blessings that they are in my life and I love them very much.
