Artist Focuses on SGV's Water History

An upcoming exhibit at the Huntington takes a look at how water factored into the landscapes of the San Gabriel Valley, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The work of Mike Hart, a La Verne-based artist, will be featured in an upcoming exhibit that focuses on how the San Gabriel Valley's use of water over the years will bring it what the Los Angeles Times calls its "inevitable arid destiny."

Among the subjects Hart touches upon in his work include the that ties into the Gabrielinos, as well as Lacy Park's past life as a lake.
