Third Annual HMS Rotary Interact All City Talent Show Benefiting the Pasadena Bad Weather Shelter

Third Annual HMS Rotary Interact All City Talent Show Benefiting Pasadena Bad Weather Shelter

The HMS Rotary Interact Club welcomes you to be part of our largest Talent Show yet as we strive to reach our goal of raising $30,000 for the Pasadena Bad Weather Shelter (BWS), the only high tolerance shelter serving the entire West San Gabriel Valley.  Many of our local Scouts and Interactors volunteer annually at the shelter on Saturday nights between late November and middle March. The shelter is under the direction of the Ecumenical Council of Pasadena Area Congregations, ECPAC.  Our event has been fully endorsed by ECPAC's Board of Directors and our San Marino Rotary.

The Talent Show is a delightful evening of G-rated live entertainment and again will be held in the Huntington Middle School Auditorium on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 7-9:30 PM.  Outstanding performers from previous years, as well as new acts, are volunteering their time to support this much needed area shelter.

As we say in our HMS Rotary Interact Club, "None of us can do everything, but all of us can do something.  Go do Good!"  To that effect, all profits from this year’s Talent Show will be donated to the Bad Weather Shelter.  To reach our goal, we are currently seeking individuals, families, businesses or corporations to sponsor the show at $50-$600 each.  Tax-deductible donations can be made payable to ECPAC BWS and sent to Huntington Middle School, 1700 Huntington Drive, San Marino, CA  91108 or made directly to ECPAC via credit card or PayPal at ecpac.net.  (Let them know our middle-schoolers sent you!)  Reserved VIP Tickets are $25.  Students: $10.

Contact Denise Wadsworth: (626) 434-6646, denise.wadsworthslp@gmail.com, for more information about VIP tickets and sponsorship.
