Save the Date for 'A Gift of Music' at St. Edmund's

A special concert featuring the principal concertmaster of the L.A. Philharmonic will be held at St. Edmund's Episcopal Church in San Marino on April 14.

In honor of San Marino's centennial anniversary, St. Edmund’s Episcopal Church will present a concert entitled "A Gift of Music" featuring Martin Chalifour, prinicipal concertmaster of the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra.

The concert will be held at the church located at 1175 San Gabriel Blvd. on April 14 at 6:30 p.m. Chalifour will be accompanied by Robert Hovencamp, St. Edmund’s Organist/Pianist.

The program will feature selections from Vivaldi's Four Seasons, as well as the music of Bach, Albinoni and Mozart.

St. Edmund's is hosting the concert as a gift to San Marino residents and friends in celebration of the city's 100th birthday.

This event is open to the public at no charge and will be followed by a hospitality hour during which time Mr. Chalifour and Mr. Hovencamp will be available for questions and conversation about their music and careers.
