AT&T Customers Can See Network Upgrades Online

Residents in San Marino can click on a website to see what AT&T upgrades have been done to improve service.

Tired of dropped calls and spotty service with your AT&T phone in San Marino?

AT&T recently launched a website that enables the residents of San Marino to check on network enhancements the telecommunications company has made since the start of 2011.

You can go to focus: Los Angeles and click on San Marino on the site’s map to see what improvements are being made.

“Updated weekly, the microsite provides an unparalleled view, unlike any other in the industry, of what AT&T is doing to enhance the customer experience,” the company said in a news release.

Visitors to the site will see a hyper-local map of the LA area that displays neighborhood-level network enhancements, which include new cell sites and upgrades for Internet speed, capacity, and network connection upgrades.

City Council refuses to allow proper cell phone service in the city. Huntington Library offers to provide cell sites (not in view) on their dozens of unused acres.

I got tired of waiting for ATT. After years of terrible service (continual dropped calls along the 134 and 210 freeways) and almost no reception in my house, I switched to Verizon. Havent had a problem since and reception at my house in the center of San Marino is great. Should have switched years ago.
