Jones Coffee--Not Your Regular Coffee Bean

A family-owned coffee business for five generations can't go wrong.

From the first time I entered Jones Coffee in Pasadena just off the Fillmore Gold Line station, I was immediately impressed by its eclectic decor of random colors and objects, including a gigantic neon lit "San-C" motel sign hanging prominently against the side wall.

The people who worked there were also extremely friendly as I told them this was my first time at the cafe. In fact, one person who worked behind the counter actually gave me a quick tour of the place, showing me different rooms with seating for customers.

But how about the coffee itself? I have to say it's one of my faves in LA County. And I'm not surprised after learning about the owners behind Jones Coffee, who have owned their own coffee farm in Guatemala for five generations! It's that kind of experience that produces the selection of coffee that customers keep coming back for (in droves).
