Deal: Come out to the South Pasadena's "Author's Night" and see a published author who's been on the Los Angeles Times best seller's list for over a year.

Father Greg Boyle, author of Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion will present his novel at the library and you'll have a chance to ask him questions.

Father Greg Boyle is the founder and executive director of Homeboy Industries, an organization based in downtown Los Angeles that helps gang members transition out of that lifestyle and get jobs.
