“United Charity Foundation is honored and privileged to be recognized by Five Acres at this year’s Swingin’ on a Star gala,” said Chan, one of the founding board members and vice president of UCF. “We are thankful that Five Acres is able to provide a safe haven for children. Our foundation believes that giving is receiving and by supporting organizations throughout our community, we can help
ensure all children are able to have successful futures.”

Chan, a mother of four understands how important the impact of a nurturing environment is for children. She credits the parent-teacher association (PTA) for fully engaging her in professional volunteerism for nonprofit organizations 22 years ago.
