Gas Prices in L.A. County Still Dropping

The drop has reached 33 straight days.

The average price of gasoline in Los Angeles County decreased Wednesday for the 33rd consecutive day, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.864 for a gallon of self-serve regular, its lowest  since Jan. 31.

The average price is 5.2 cents less than a week ago, 25.1 cents lower than a month ago and 25.3 cents below what it was a year ago, according to AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price decreased 25.6 cents over the past 33 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.

The Orange County average price decreased today for the 32nd consecutive day, falling six-tenths of a cent to $3.837, its lowest amount since Jan. 31. It is 4.8 cents less than one week ago, 26 cents lower than one month ago and 25.9 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price fell 26.6 cents over the past 32 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.
