The Chamber and Centennial Committee invite local businesses and organizations to purchase memorabilia to sell or give to clients, customers or members. Centennial Committee Chairman Liz Kneier told Patch that individuals interested in the items can also purchase them.

San Marino Centennial items include clothing like t-shirts and items like wine glasses, mugs, key rings, license plate covers and ornaments.

Kneier said if someone wants a commemorative Centennial item that is not among those being made, one can be custom made by Ellen’s Silkscreening in South Pasadena, which is partnering with the Centennial Committee.

Those interested in viewing the Centennial items on March 21 and possibly placing an order should contact the San Marino Chamber of Commerce office and make an appointment with Rita Rodriguez at either (626) 286-1022 or sanmarinochamber@att.net.

Memorabilia will be sold at public events starting at the July 4, 2012 Lacy Park celebration.

Money raised from the sale of Centennial items will go toward Centennial expenses and to the Committee, said Kneier.
