Girl Scout Recipe: Mini Cucumber Rolls

San Marino Senior Girl Scout Troop 13421 offers up a series of healthy recipes for busy families that need quick and easy snacks.

As part of completing a prerequisite project for the Gold Award, San Marino Senior Girl Scout Troop 13421 is sharing a series of healthy recipes with the local community to help promote a healthy lifestyle.

"We hope to spread this recipe book to help families and their children eat healthy and wholesome snacks," Caroline Brockett of Senior Troop 13421 told Patch.

The troop's recipe book is comprised of 16 different healthy recipes for busy families that need quick and easy snacks.

The Gold Award is the highest awards given to girl scouts. In the past, the troop has focused on projects that encourage a healthy mind and body. The troop's Bronze Award project was a fitness day for preschoolers and the Silver Award project included redecorating a preschool library and filling it with wonderful books for all ages.
