The Gold Award is the highest awards given to girl scouts. In the past, the troop has focused on projects that encourage a healthy mind and body. The troop's Bronze Award project was a fitness day for preschoolers and the Silver Award project included redecorating a preschool library and filling it with wonderful books for all ages.

● one tbsp. olive oil
● one can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
● salt and pepper

Directions
Rinse the beans in water and dry well, making sure to dry them completely. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the garbanzo beans and cook for eight to ten minutes, stirring until they get slightly crisp and brown. Finally season with salt and pepper or any herb or spice you like! Even parmesan cheese is good on them. The can will feed two or three hungry kids. Total time: 10 mins.
