The annual San Marino Motor Classic car show, with more than 200 cars and a handful of events, returns in June. The event's purpose is to bring increased public awareness of the history of motor vehicles with a broad spectrum of cars from the early to mid-twentieth century, but it also serves as a fund rasiser for the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA as well as the rotary Club of San Marino. In addition to the show itself, in which entrants compete in 30 classes and for seven additional awards, there will be a series of events surrounding the main show:
- Welcome Dinner—6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 7
- Architectural Tour—10 a.m. June 8
- Gala Benefitting the Petersen Automotive Museum—6:30 to 8 p.m. June 8
