San Marino Fire Department Pancake Breakfast/Disaster Preparedness

May 14 at 7 a.m. is with our hard working firefighters at Lacy Park.  An event that grew into a tradition, many families enjoy every year and especially those young ones that get to meet the fire fighters and ride on the fire engines. In addition to a number of displays of fire apparatus there will be information about Disaster Preparedness, which in itself is a big part of the Neighborhood Watch plan for awareness. If you have not been to one of those it is worth waking up early and going to enjoy those delicious pancakes and sausages and getting to meet all our firefighters and many of your neighbors. They are there for us and will answer any questions we have on our safety in case of emergencies.

Other meetings for the Neighborhood Watch are being planned through the city and I will keep you posted as we go. You may want to join one of those in progress or start your own.
