Crime Blotter: Lost Couple, Screaming Woman

A screaming woman, burglary, a lost elderly couple and grand theft rounded out crime incidents in San Marino last week. See where these incidents occurred, and read about others.

The following information was provided by the San Marino Police Department:

July 2

12:48 P.M. A traffic stop in the 1400 block of San Marino Avenue resulted in a vehicle being impounded for expired registration and 11 parking tickets.

1:31 P.M. A report was taken for a traffic collision in the 1800 block of Huntington Drive.

4:55 P.M. A found property report was taken for a wallet found on the front lawn in the 1200 block of San Marino Avenue.

6:21 P.M. Officers were requested to keep the peace in the 1500 block of Euston Road. A juvenile was arrested at the location.

July 3

3:05 P.M. A grand theft report was taken in the 700 block of Winthrop when someone opened an account in the resident’s name.

July 4

9:28 A.M. A traffic stop at Monterey and Garfield resulted in the arrest of a male for driving with a suspended license.

July 5

7:24 A.M. Officers were requested to assist an elderly couple who appeared to be lost at El Molino and Huntington. After several attempts to locate their residence they were transported to the 500 block of Winthrop Road.

9:18 A.M. A found property report was taken for a found wallet at Euston and Huntington Drive. The owner was located.

5:51 P.M. A lost property report was taken for a lost cell phone in the 1400 block of Virginia Road.

8:05 P.M. An identity theft report was taken in the 1300 block of Belhaven Road.

July 6

12:51 A.M. A traffic stop n the 2300 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a female for driving without a license.

4:49 A.M. A vehicle was impounded at Robles and Winston.

1:48 P.M. A male was arrested at Duarte and Vista for giving false information to a Police Officer.

2:38 P.M. Officers responded to an alarm call in the 2100 block of Robles Avenue.

3:26 P.M. A subpoena was served in the 4900 block of Lona Avenue.

3:48 P.M. A traffic stop at California and Sierra Madre resulted in the arrest of a male for driving with a suspended license.

3:51 P.M. A subpoena was served in the 1500 block of Bellwood.

5:06 P.M. A traffic stop in the 1400 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a male for driving with a suspended license.

5:50 P.M. A burglary report was taken in the 1800 block of Los Robles Avenue.

7:25 P.M. A welfare check was requested in the 800 block of Winthrop Road. All was in order.

July 7

2:46 P.M. A report was taken for a traffic collision at Huntington and San Marino.

3:01 P.M. A report was taken for a suspicious male looking into mail boxes in the 1200 block of Shenandoah Road.

3:30 P.M. Officers responded to an alarm call in the 800 block of Oxford Road.

5:02 P.M. Officers responded to an alarm call in the 1600 block of Huntington Drive.

5:52 P.M. A report was taken for a traffic collision with injuries at Huntington and Los Robles.

8:48 P.M. A traffic stop at Fair Oaks and Hope resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

July 8

1:00 A.M. A found property report was taken for a package found at the curb in the 1400 block of Granada Avenue. The package belonged to a resident in South Pasadena.

1:38 A.M. A traffic stop in the 2700 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

2:18 P.M. A welfare check was requested on a male at Huntington and Waverly. All was in order, he was found to be resting.

2:48 P.M. Officers were requested for a woman screaming at people at Euclid and Mission. The subject was advised by officers.

July 9

8:27 A.M. A traffic collision occurred in the 2700 block of Monterey Road. Names were exchanged.

12:58 P.M. An identity theft report was taken in the 1100 block of Shenandoah Road.
