Crime Blotter: Suspicious Man, Vehicle

Noise complaints, traffic collisions, a welfare check, suspicious activities and more rounded out last week's crime incidents in San Marino.

The following information was submitted by the San Marino Police Department:

July 10

8:10 A.M. A traffic stop at Huntington and Bedford resulted in the arrest of a male for driving without a license.

3:42 P.M. A lost and disorientated female was reported to be at Montecito and Sierra Madre. A social worker was finally contacted to take custody of her.

July 11

6:22 A.M. A traffic stop at Huntington and West resulted in the arrest of a male for driving without a license.

7:31 A.M. A traffic stop at Huntington and San Marino resulted in the arrest of a male for driving without a license.

7:48 A.M. A vehicle was repossessed in the 700 block of La Mirada Avenue.

11:20 A.M. A found property report was taken for a bicycle located in the area of Ridgeway and Huntington.

4:35 P.M. A welfare check was requested in the 2200 block of Oak Knoll Avenue. All was in order.

4:43 P.M. A lost property report was taken for a lost ring in the 1700 block of Euston Road.

July 12

7:38 A.M. A report was taken for a traffic collision in the 2700 block of Doresta Road.

8:22 A.M. A non-injury traffic collision occurred at Huntington and Oak Knoll.

8:48 A.M. A field investigation card was filled out on a suspicious male at Garfield and Oak.

9:02 A.M. Officers assisted Alhambra Police with a traffic collision at Atlantic and Huntington.

12:22 P.M. A warrant suspect was arrested in the 600 block of Del Mar Avenue.

9:53 P.M. A report was taken for a traffic collision at Huntington and Virginia.

July 13

1:25 A.M. A burglary report was taken in the 1300 block of Monterey Place.

8:46 A.M. A loud noise complaint was received in the 2200 block of Huntley Circle. Workers were advised to turn down their radio.

10:04 A.M. A report was taken for identity theft in the 2000 block of Los Robles Avenue.

3:42 P.M. A traffic stop on a bicycle at Los Robles and Monterey Road resulted in the arrest of a male for giving false information to a Police Officer.

7:44 P.M. A field investigation card was filled out on a suspicious male in the 2200 block of Brentford Road.

July 14

12:53 P.M. A found property report was taken for a bicycle found in the 500 block of San Marino Avenue.

7:37 P.M. A traffic stop at Huntington and West resulted in the arrest of a male for driving without a license.

10:30 P.M. A complaint of a loud party was received in the 1800 block of Huntington Drive.

July 15

4:12 A.M. Monterey Park Police advised they had burglary suspects in custody from a former call in San Marino in the 1200 block of Garfield. A report was taken.

10:08 A.M. A found property report was taken for tools found in the 1900 block of El Molino Avenue.

1:38 P.M. An identity theft report was taken in the 2200 block of Huntington Drive.

2:20 P.M. A resident in the 1100 block of San Marino Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle, a full size maroon sedan, pulled all of the way down their driveway and then backed out.

6:33 P.M. A welfare check was requested in the 1700 block of Lombardy Road. All was in order.

8:07 P.M. A traffic stop at Huntington and Camden resulted in the arrest of a male for driving without a license.

July 16

1:23 A.M. A burglary report was taken in the 2100 block of Huntington Drive.

5:34 A.M. A welfare check was requested in the 2300 block of Montecito Drive.

8:32 A.M. Names were exchanged for a non injury traffic collision at Los Robles and Winthrop.

12:32 P.M. An identity theft report was taken in the 2800 block of Canterbury Road for three credit cards opened in the resident’s name.

5:02 P.M. A grand theft report was taken for a fraudulent e-Bay account purchase in the 2600 block of Lorain Road.
