SMPD Blotter: Burglaries, Battery, Hit and Runs

The following crime and arrest information was supplied by the San Marino Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The following incidents occurred in San Marino recently:

Burglaries

Feb. 22
2000 block of California Boulevard
3:48 p.m.
A burglary report was taken.

Feb. 22
1400 block of Circle Drive
1:55 p.m.
A burglary in progress was reported. Officers set up a perimeter and were able to arrest one suspect. Two suspects escaped through the hills.

Feb. 22
1100 block of Shenandoah Road
1:42 p.m.
A residential burglary occurred. A suspect who was detained on Circle Drive had stolen items from the location and was arrested.



Battery

Feb. 21
1700 block of Chelsea Road
5:13 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a battery and a male was transported to Las Encinas by family members.

Theft

Feb. 25
1700 block of Huntington Drive
6:55 p.m.
A petty theft report was taken for a stolen bicycle.

Vandalism

Feb. 27
2600 block of Wetherby Road
9:36 a.m.   
A vandalism report was taken for a broken window caused by an egg being thrown at it.

DUI/Hit and Run

Feb. 24
Old Mill Road and Banning Way
3:26 a.m.   
A female was arrested for driving under the influence and a hit and run traffic collision.

Hit and Run

Feb. 22
Huntington Drive and Cambridge Road
7:07 p.m.
A report was taken for a hit and run traffic collision.

DUI

Feb. 26
Los Robles Avenue and Wilson Avenue
1:56 a.m.   
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

Mail Fraud

Feb. 27
600 block of Lombardy Road
1:23 p.m.
A report was taken for mail fraud.
