Tradition Continues at Christmas Around the Drive (Photos)

The San Marino Chamber of Commerce, merchants and the Fire Department continued a Christmas tradition Friday as young and old strolled Huntington Drive for treats, holiday cheer and a chance to meet Santa Claus.

Shops and eateries like and stayed open later and offered treats or entertainment to attendees.

Santa Claus arrived at the on the vintage, shining red No. 1 fire engine to officially help light the Christmas trees at Huntington Drive and San Marino Avenue--not to mention taking the all-important requests of hundreds of children large and small for the big day.

The Fire Department served up some 500 hundred free hot dogs, chips and drinks to the crowd.

Some families have made the annual pilgrimage to Christmas Around the Drive for several years. Fun was had by all!
