Power Should Be Back by Sunday

San Marino should have power by Sunday night, according to Southern California Edison.

With power restored to more than 65 percent of customers who lost service during this week's windstorm, the remaining customers will have power by Sunday night, according to Southern California Edison.

Edison has posted the following to its website:

As we continue to restore service as safely and quickly as possible, we remind you to stay away from downed or dangling lines, including those between homes and power poles.

Remember: a downed line or dangling wire is dangerous — even if it appears not to be live. If there are downed lines on or near your home or business, call 9-1-1 and stay inside to remain safe until our crews can repair the lines.

In some areas where debris is blocking our access to equipment, we recommend that you prepare for the possibility of being without service for an extended period of time. Here’s information on outages related to hurricane-force winds in our region.
