An assistant principal at Alhambra High School has resigned after being confronted in a surreptitiously recorded telephone conversation aired on YouTube with accusations, which she appeared to confirm, that she molested a female student at a Moreno Valley middle school for three years.

The alleged victim, Jamie Carrillo, claimed the abuse -- allegedly at the hands of Andrea Cardosa -- began when she was 12 years old and a student at Chemawa Middle School in Moreno Valley.

"I am 28 years old and have been waiting years to get up enough courage to report a teacher for sexually abusing me for  years," she wrote in a message accompanying her YouTube video. "When I finally got up enough courage to report her, I found out that the statute of limitations was up and she will never have to pay for the things that she did to me."

The video posted Friday lasts nearly nine minutes; the call to the teacher, at her office, lasted about three.

"I wanted to let the public know what kind of person is around their children," Carrillo wrote.

The secretly recorded call produced some dramatic exchanges.

"Do you realize that you brainwashed me and you manipulated me and that what you did was wrong?" said Carrillo.

"Yes, and I regret it," Cardosa replied.

"You sicken me, and every day when I think about what you did, you sicken me," Carrillo added. "You should be so ashamed and so disgusted with yourself."

"I am, I am," the woman replied.

Carrillo said the former coach, whom she knew as Ms. Cardosa and who was subsequently identified in broadcast reports as Andrea Cardosa, began sexually molesting her when she was 12. She said it started with the woman kissing her in the locker room and progressed to the point where she was taking her on trips out of town to have sex.

The Alhambra Unified School District confirmed that the administrator was no longer with the district.

"Alhambra High School administration received an electronic message with a YouTube link incriminating an Alhambra High School administrator," according to a statement from the district. "Alhambra High School administration contacted the Alhambra Police Department immediately upon discovering the link. She is no longer an employee of Alhambra High School or the Alhambra Unified School District."

The district added that no students at Alhambra High have come forward with allegations against the woman.

Alhambra police referred the matter to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, ABC7 reported.
