SMPD Blotter: Drug Possession, DUIs, Burglary, Hit and Runs

The following incidents took place between Feb. 8 and Feb. 14 and were selected from the San Marino Police Department log.

Feb. 8

10:40 a.m.          A traffic stop in the 2000 block of Huntington Drive resulted in the arrest of a male for two outstanding warrants, a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

5:41 p.m.            A battery report was taken at Orlando and Holladay when a subject in a dark BMW threw an egg at a jogger.

5:43 p.m.            An incident report was taken when three males threw water balloons in a class room in the 3100 block of Huntington Drive.

Feb. 9

11:44 a.m.          A report was taken for a traffic collision with a vehicle roll over at Huntington and Virginia.

2:11 p.m.            A report was taken for a hit and run traffic collision at Huntington and San Marino.

6:27 p.m.            A battery report was taken in the 1400 block of Virginia Road when water was thrown at two individuals walking outside of the park.

Feb. 10

9:35 a.m.            A male was arrested for being drunk in public at Sussex and Granada.

Feb. 11

10:02 a.m.            A burglary report was taken in the 2700 block of Monterey Road. The suspect was located and arrested at Oak Knoll north of Monterey Road.

10:42 a.m.            Officers picked up and arrested a warrant suspect detained by Sierra Madre Police at Mazanita and Michilinda in Sierra Madre.

10:56 p.m.            A traffic stop at Huntington and La Presa resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

Feb. 12

6:01 p.m.            A petty theft report was taken in the 1800 block of Alpine Drive for fraudulent use of a credit card.

Feb. 13

3:35 p.m.            A report was taken for a bicycle verses bicycle traffic collision with injuries at Euston and San Marino.

Feb. 14

1:34 p.m.            A hit and run traffic collision occurred at Rose and San Salvatore.
