SMPD Blotter: Identity Theft, Burglary, Battery

Various outstanding warrants, burglaries, petty theft and more were reported in San Marino this past week.

The following incidents took place between March 1 and March 7 and were selected from the San Marino Police Department log.

March 1

1:43 P.M.            An identity theft report was taken in the 2100 block of Homet Road.

9:37 P.M.            A burglary report was taken for a vehicle that had a window smashed and a purse stolen in the 2300 block of Huntington Drive.

March 2

3:58 P.M.            A battery report was taken in the 3100 block of Huntington Drive.

March 3

2:01 P.M.            A traffic stop at San Marino and Lorain resulted in the arrest of a male for an outstanding warrant.

4:01 P.M.            A traffic stop at Huntington and Old Mill resulted in the arrest of a male for driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.

11:25 P.M.            A traffic stop at Garfield and Huntington resulted in the arrest of a male for an outstanding warrant.

March 4

4:08 P.M.            An identity theft report was taken in the 1400 block of Circle Drive.

9:59 P.M.            A traffic stop at Garfield and Mission resulted in the arrest of a female for an outstanding warrant.

March 5

7:59 P.M.            A burglary report was taken in the 1700 block of Chelsea Road.

March 6

3:44 P.M.            A suspicious occupied vehicle at Gainsborough and Huntington was impounded when the driver had a warrant from Monterey Park.

11:26 P.M.            A petty theft report was taken in the 1500 block of Old Mill Road. A briefcase was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

March 7, 2011

12:55 P.M.            A traffic stop at Huntington and Wayne in South Pasadena resulted in the arrest of a female for driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant.

7:37 P.M.            Officers were requested to respond to the 500 block of Huntington for a mentally handicapped female who had become violent. The paramedics responded and transported her to San Gabriel Medical Center.
