Burglary

March 6
6:05 p.m.
1600 block of Virginia Road
A residential burglary /robbery occurred when a man posing as a City inspector knocked on the door, spoke to the resident and later forcibly removed a diamond ring from the victim’s finger and fled. It was later discovered that a safe and jewelry from the master bedroom were missing.



Man With Weapon Arrested

March 11
5:41 p.m.   
1700 block of Huntington Drive
Officers received a call of a suspicious person. A man was arrested for possession of a switchblade and burglary tools.

Theft

March 9
900 block of Kewen Drive
5:29 p.m.   
A resident requested to speak to an officer regarding identity theft.


March 8
2100 block of Huntington Drive
5:25 p.m.   
A petty theft report was taken for cash stolen from the register.

Hit and Run

March 6
Del Mar Avenue and Huntington Drive
6:29 p.m.   
A report was taken for a hit and run with property damage.

Child/Elder Abuse

March 12

10:00 a.m.   
A child abuse report was taken.

March 8
2600 block of Monterey Road
11:07 a.m.
A child abuse report was taken.

4:49 p.m.   
An elder abuse report was taken.

Vandalism

March 9
800 block of Orlando Road
12:15 a.m.   
Three juveniles were arrested for vandalism and trespassing.

DUI

March 11
Huntington Drive and St. Albans Road
4:21 a.m.
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a woman for driving under the influence.

March 9
Huntington Drive and Ridgeway Road
10:40 p.m.
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a man for driving under the influence.

Kinghurst Road and San Gabriel Boulevard
4:21 a.m.
A traffic stop at resulted in the arrest of a man for driving under the influence.
