Now we hear San Marino Mayor Allan Yung's story:

"I can’t remember offhand what I was doing. I remember looking at the TV in disbelief. It’s like something—a catastrophe—that you never thought of happening. To this day I can’t believe it happened but you know when we go back to look at the pictures.

I visited the [Ground Zero] area and saw the big hole. I didn’t know what I was thinking. I said, “My god, what does life bring you? What catastrophe can happen in a second.”

I don’t know what kind of hatred people have … to make them do this; to bring this on other people.

We saw the dust and the buildings collapsing on TV. It can happen here. I was thinking it could happen in Los Angeles."
