Cutting Parking Limits at Huntington and San Marino on City Council Agenda

The San Marino City Council will discuss eliminating four-hour time limits for 25 spaces at the intersection of Huntington Drive and San Marino Avenue at Wednesday's meeting.

Responding to a request made by local merchants, the City Council will discuss the possibility of eliminating four-hour time limits for 25 parking spots at the northwest corner of San Marino Avenue and Huntington Drive.

The request comes because employees are unable to use those spots because of the 4-hour time limit - according to the city's staff report, there is ample available public parking in the area despite the time limits, while there is little private parking.

Nearby businesses include San Marino Plaza, the San Marino Tribune, Titan Travel, Visgne Hair Studio, San Marino Psychic and San Marino Plumbing Services.

The full staff report on the issue as well as the full city agenda for tomorrow's meeting can be viewed here.

The meeting is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at San Marino City Hall.
