San Marino Power, Schools Expected to Resume Friday

San Marino schools will be open Friday and Southern California Edison hopes to restore power to the city Friday morning. The Huntington will remain closed for clean up.

San Marino residents will be dealing without power for another night, according to Southern California Edison.

“Based on our initial assessment, it is possible that some customers in this outage may be off until Friday Early Morning,” SCE said on their website.

Ballantyne told Patch late Thursday afternoon that three homes in the city had been red tagged, meaning they were deemed uninhabitable for the residents until they could be evaluated by a structural engineer.

No injuries have been reported in San Marino as a result of the winds.
