Poll: Will Carmageddon 2012 Alter Your Travel Plans?

Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials announced Thursday another 10-mile full closure of the San Diego (405) Freeway through the Sepulveda Pass.

Sure, the construction is across town, but the threat of Carmageddon II still looms over all of Los Angeles. But is it enough for you to alter your plans?

A 10-mile stretch of the Sept. 29-30, while construction crews work to demolish a chunk of the Mulholland Bridge, Metropolitan Transportation Authority officials announced Thursday. The work is the second phase of demolition and reconstruction of the bridge.

So, with two months of notice, and the fact that last summer's widely-predicted Carmageddon equated to little more than a holiday weekend-type backup, will this phase of construction keep you at home? Or will you just re-route your west side drive?

Take our poll and let us know. Don't see an answer that works for you? Leave your opinion in the comment section.
