San Marino's New Assembly Member Sworn In

Ed Chau will represent San Marino in the upcoming State Assembly session.

Assemblymember Ed Chau, D - Alhambra, who will represent San Marino in the California Assembly for the upcoming term, was sworn in on Monday.

Chau, pictured right, defeated former San Marino mayor Matthew Lin in the race for the seat.  The district also includes the cities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Montebello, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, South El Monte, and Temple City.

Chau previously served as an elected member of the Montebello Unified School District Board of Education for the past 12 years and has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior court for the past ten years.
