Traffic Advisory Commission Meeting Rescheduled for Monday Night

The City said the meeting was inadvertently scheduled for Thursday. The meeting's agenda includes requests to change business parking restrictions and an update on traffic calming on Los Robles and Garfield Avenues.

If you were planning to attend the San Marino Traffic Advisory Commission meeting Thursday, be aware that the meeting has been rescheduled and will instead take place Monday night (tonight) at 7 p.m. at 's council chambers.

The meeting's agenda (which can be seen attached to this article) includes an update on Northwest Traffic Calming Plan Implementation, including a meeting with the City of Alhambra about traffic along Huntington Drive and Los Robles Avenue and Garfield Avenue.

New commission meeting business includes a request to change parking restrictions at and consider modifying the intersection of Huntington Drive and Ridgeway Road.

The City posted a notice Wednesday from San Marino Assistant City Manager Lucy Garcia, who noted the following:

"...the Regular Meeting of the San Marino Traffic Advisory Commission was inadvertently adjourned to April 19, 2012 at 7 p.m. ... The corrected regular meeting of the San Marino Traffic Advisory Commission is on April 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. A copy of said Notice was posted pursuant to Government Code 54954.2 at the door at which said meeting was to be held."
