Wind Aftermath Update: Outages, Clean-Up, Closures

The City of San Marino issued a wind recovery update to residents Monday with the most current outage, clean-up and closures information as of 1 p.m. The San Marino Police Department continues to allow overnight street parking this week.

The City of San Marino informed residents Monday that it has transitioned from a response to a recovery posture and its two main priorities are power restoration and debris clean-up.

Power

From the time that the windstorm hit, to now, and into the future, the City has and will continue to aggressively advocate for its residents and businesses with Edison. Currently, Edison is reporting that there are 328 customers without power in San Marino. In order to assist Edison, we are putting together a list of those addresses that do not have power. We will send this list to Edison and strongly encourage them to make repairs quickly. Please call the City’s Emergency Hotline at 300-0745 or 300-0746 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to report that your power is out or if you know a neighbor whose power is still out. If you happen to connect to voicemail, please leave a message with your name, address, and phone number and we will return your call promptly during business hours. Debris Clean-Up

Please be patient because the removal of this debris is estimated to take over two weeks. We have crews solely dedicated to debris removal and appreciate any assistance the residents and businesses can provide through your normal landscapers. Closures

and the San Marino Center will continue to be closed until power is restored. will be closed for the next two weeks due to the extensive damage that has occurred within the park.
