3 Events in 3 Nights: Lacy Park Meeting, Founders' Day, School Board

Monday through Wednesday nights are a chance to be immersed in even more of what's happening in San Marino.

Starting tonight, you can attend three community events that will keep you more informed and also allow you to voice opinions on various community issues.

School Board Meeting

Tonight the San Marino Unified School District Board of Education holds a meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

In addition to reporting on any vital agenda items, San Marino Patch will report on any further developments in the Stoneman School lease since the Board rejected the two most recent lease bids last week.

We will also see if any progress has been made in finding a permanent replacement for San Marino football coach and assistant principal Mike Mooney.

PTA Founders’ Day

This big “Back to the Future”-themed event celebrating volunteers and San Marino's history will be held from 6:30 pm to 10 pm at the Neher Auditorium at .

Refreshments start at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.

Lacy Park Lights Meeting

Residents can voice concerns about the conditions under which the approved Lacy Park tennis court lights will be used. The meeting will be held at The Boy Scout House (1196 St Albans Rd.) on Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
