Preparing for College & Beyond

First PTA seminars in the 2011 - San Marino Chinese School PTA9:30--10:15 am

Speaker : Ms. Linda Wah, new Board Director of Pasadena City College. Recently, PCC has been growing and expanding to become one of the best colleges in southern California. It has over 30,000 students. Ms.Wah has been focusing on utilizing technology to increase efficiency and to improve education quality. She will inform us the availability of classes for high school students to take as their AP selections. And PCC is known for the excellent transfer rate to universities. It is considered as good alternative to help students to enter their dream universities.

10:20--11 am San Marino School District superintendent, Dr. GaryWoods and representative of School Foundation.They will present about how school district carefully allocated the fundsraised by all community in the past two years. And how those funds havereleased some problems and crisises our school face. Also, they will talkabout the outlook of the school financial situation. Please come with us to share the important information relate to us atthe cafeteria of Huntington Middle School on February 5th, 2011.
