San Marino Schools Foundation Seeks Donations to Keep Schools Strong

The San Marino Schools Foundation is reaching out to community members, asking for a show of support to local schools by donating to the Foundation.

These donations will help fund quality public education and help keep San Marino schools strong.

"Our district is one of the most coveted school districts in California. Our award winning schools, outstanding enrichment programs, and strong community support all make the San Marino Unified School District an exceptional environment for children to flourish," the foundation stated. "Maintaining this standard of excellence requires annual community support."

The Foundation seeks to raise $550,000 before the end of the school year to help retain teaching positions for next year.

The group suggests a tax deductible donation of $2,000 per student. Some families may donate more, some may give less - but the goal is 100% parent participation.

Donations can be made online at the Foundation's website at www.smsf.org. Or, you can call the Foundation Office at (626) 299-7014 to make your donation by phone.

Contributions may also be sent to 1665 West Drive, San Marino, CA 91108.

Donate by May 22nd to ensure a sign is planted in your yard!
