San Marino to Vote on 2013-14 Budget at Tuesday's Meeting

The San Marino Unified School District will be voting on whether to approve a budget with a projection for a $3 million deficit at Tuesday night's meeting.

The district budget, which can viewed in full here, projects San Marino will have to transfer approximately $3.2 million from a reserve fund to cover the balance.  As always, the ultimate figure will likely depend on funding decisions made at the state level.

The district's long term projections are a little sunnier for the district - their projection for 2014-15 is a $1.4 million deficit, with a $400,000 surplus predicted in 2015-16.

Tuesday's meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the San Marino Unified headquarters at 1665 West Drive.
