School Board Election: One Incumbent, Two Newcomers to Run
Incumbent Chris Norgaard will be joined by first-time school board candidates Scott Hu and Lisa Link.
The filing deadline to run in the November 8, 2011 Board Member election has passed.
As of the 5 p.m. deadline on Wednesday, three members have officially declared their candidacy for the two open seats by filing the required candidacy papers.
Current School Board President and attorney Chris Norgaard is running again, making him the only incumbent in the race since current board member Karen Preston is not running for re-election.
