The Board of Education is set to adopt a resolution Tuesday proclaiming this week as Teachers Appreciation Week.
Though the resolution will not be officially signed until Tuesday night’s regular Board of Education meeting, Teachers Appreciation Week runs from Monday, May 7 through Friday, May 11.
A proclamation of May 9 as California Day of the Teacher is also on the Board of Education agenda.
In the spirit of appreciation, tell us: What teachers have made a difference in your life or your child’s life and why? It could be a teacher who finds creative ways to teach certain subjects or a teacher who has taken time to give extra help or encouragement.
