Weekly San Marino High Sports Recap

Here's a recent recap of sports at San Marino High School.

Boys Varsity Tennis: The Boys Varsity Tennis team defeated Arcadia High 17-1 and beat South Pasadena High 17-1. They are now 12-0 overall.

Track Co-ed: The Track team defeated La Canada High. The meet with South Pasadena High has yet to be determined whether a win or loss. Track is now 2-2.

Girls Varsity Softball: The Varsity Softball team defeated La Canada High 10-2 and defeated South Pasadena High 10-0. They are now 11-4-1.

Boys Varsity Golf: The Varsity Boys Golf team defeated Monrovia High but lost to La Canada High. They are now 6-5 overall.

Varsity Baseball: The Varsity Baseball team defeated Rosemead High 5-0 and defeated South Pasadena High 11-1. They are now overall 9-3-1.

Boys Varsity Volleyball: The Boys Varsity Volleyball team lost to La Canada High 1-3 and lost to South Pasadena High 0-3. They are now Overall 10-7.

Boys Varsity Swimming: The Boys Varsity Swim team defeated Monrovia High but lost to La Canada High. They are now 3-4.

Girls Varsity Swimming: The Girls Varsity Swim Team defeated Monrovia High and defeated La Canada High. They are now 3-3.

Badminton Co-ed: The Badminton Co-Ed team defeated Alhambra High and beat Mark Keppel High. Their record is now 9-1.

Congratulations to Zander Wick for becoming San Marino's first wrestling National Champion this weekend at USA Folkstyle Nationals in Iowa. Recognition also goes out to Julian Flores for placing second in the nation and Even Wick for placing 5th in their divisions. This is an outstanding accomplishment for these three young men and for the city of San Marino.
