This week’s Whiz Kid, Christianna Rasmussen, is quite the graceful acrobat.  On dry land or in the water, her ability to perform elegantly comes so naturally.  Even at her young age, her movement is as captivating as it is amazing.  What makes her shine even more is that because she is so young, she has vast potential to improve.

Whiz Kid’s Accomplishments:

Christianna joined Victory Cheer, a decorated and award-winning tumbling and cheer organization, at the age of five.  She is currently one of the youngest members in their Junior Level 2 team and helped to win her team first place at their first competition in San Jose, California.

Whiz Kid’s Key to Awesomeness:

In a society growing increasingly idle and sedentary, it’s a welcome change of the status quo to see a young athlete turn convention on end and demonstrate the gift of motion.  Christianna has been an active youngster ever since she was four, joining the Happy Day School Water Ballet team (the youngest to ever join).  Even at the age of four, she proved herself capable of performing aquatic acrobatics that even 12 year olds couldn’t perform.  She’s been involved in gymnastics since four as well and continues to exhibit a comfortably natural grace so few are born with.

But the true key to Christianna’s awesomeness is her enthusiastic approach towards everything that she does.  Whether it’s her advanced swimming skills, her water ballet performances, her dancing, or her cheering, Christianna focuses all her being into whatever she’s doing without forgetting to have fun.  This open-minded and wise perspective will surely push her to greater things while keeping her grounded.
