Whiz Kid: Hockey Player Jack Skeffington

Each week, San Marino Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. See who we highlighted this week and suggest a Whiz Kid!

Jack Skeffington has attended since kindergarten. His sister Bridget also attends Carver School. He always wears a smile on his face and is very polite when he greets people.

Jack plays basketball for fun and baseball on the Farm division. He is well-liked by his friends in school and sports with his easy going personality. He loves his school and his teachers and enjoys meeting people and learning new things.

Like father like son, Jack's interest in hockey may be because his dad is a hockey player, but when he tried out for himself, he discovered it was his passion as well.
