Albert is a , one of the highest academic honors bestowed upon students by the San Marino High School system. Albert was also one of the speakers featured during the 2011-2012 graduation ceremony.
Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness:
The key to Albert's awesomeness is his approach to all things: pursuing what you love. Whether it was learning how to solve a Rubik's Cube, earning high marks on a test, or taking the initiative to become a leader and effect change in school, Albert's mentality has always been: "If I wanted it, I'd make an effort to be good at it."
But what I found most amazing about Albert was his humility and understanding. He attributes his awesomeness to joining the Associated Student Body this past year as the student representative on the Board of Education. The opportunity offered him a chance to become immersed in the world of academic administration and allowed him to interact with a lot of other student leaders and learn about the different issues in the school environment.
Albert is very thankful for the experience as it helped him develop organizational skills and learn about the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the school district running. Through his time spent in this position, he has really matured into a more aware individual.
