This week’s Whiz Kid of the Week is Evan Roberts. Evan attended , then , only to go on to  where he played Freshman Football and Baseball and even added Cross Country to his repertoire Sophmore year. He now attends Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where he is pursuing his passion in music.

• Whiz Kids’ Age: 17 years old
• Whiz Kid’s School: Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan
• Whiz Kid’s Accomplishments: Performed the role of Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart in his school's production. His previous opera roles have been as a Spirit Boy in Mozart's Magic Flute at The Hollywood Bowl, and as a member of the chorus In Tosca performed with The Los Angeles Opera. Before Interlochen, Evan was a member of San Marino High School's Chamber Choir and performed in several theater productions at the high school. 
• Whiz Kids’ Key to Awesomeness: Evan’s key to awesomeness is the driving passion he exhibits on a constant basis towards furthering his dream of becoming a renowned singer. Between appearing in multiple operatic and classical productions, and getting accepted into the Interlochen Arts Academy, Evan Roberts always remain to true to constantly honing and practicing his craft as he plans to major in Classical Voice once he gets to college. In preparation for furthering his singing career, Evan has already begun the audition process at music conservatories across the nation and never ceases to practice and perfect his voice. But what fuels Evan’s success is his love for his family and his family’s support system. His parents (Rick & Jill) travel with him to each of his shows and Evan never forgets that family is the most important thing in the world.
