This week's Whiz Kid is Stephanie Cho. Stephanie Cho is currently an 8th grader at where she is an avid violinist and dedicated musician. Aside from playing the violin, Stephanie is also a junior blackbelt and enjoys playing golf.

• Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Stephanie was awarded the prestigious Solo Award at the San Diego Heritage Festival and won the Golden State Open Tae Kwon Do Championship for junior blackbelt.
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: The key to Stephanie’s awesomeness is her passion for music and violin. She started playing when she was five years old and a testament to her skill is how much she practices. As the Huntington Middle School Orchestra’s concert master, Stephanie Cho continuously strives to advance herself musically while keeping in mind that music is more than just a goal or an accessory part of her life, but something she loves. She truly appreciates her fellow orchestra musicians and the guidance that Mr. Folsom offers her as she develops as a young musician. Stephanie is incredibly multi-faceted, which is exemplified in how she trains both body and mind. The discipline she has in honing her musical craft is mirrored in her study of Tae Kwon Do. She may be young but she’s got quite a kick, holding the title of Jr. Black Belt in self-defense. Stephanie is also very athletic and enjoys playing golf with her dad.
